Meeting Tunisian book sharing startup YallaRead

Ahmed Hadhri is one of the founders of YallaRead, a BookSerf style book sharing platform in Tunisia. He sent a mail saying he was in Istanbul for a training workshop, we invited him to drop by Bitti Gitti. It was very comforting to hear that things were going good in the country where the Arab Spring started. All the other countries lost the gains they made, but the Jasmine Revolution in Tunisia seems to have given a bright future to Ahmed, he is very happy with the startup ecosystem in Tunisia.

YallaRead has 2000 members even though it's just a few months old. We talked about how he and his team could grow this number with activities to support book sharing, like shooting their own YouTube series, or screen printing products. They are already organizing events where Tunisian book vlogger's are coming and teaching how to shoot your own vlog; so it's only natural they branch out more.

To spread the love, we gave Ahmed a Read More t-shirt and totebag as farewell gifts. Slowly but surely book sharing will be the next stop of the sharing economy!

Türkçe :

Ahmed Hadhri YallaRead'in kurucularından biri.

YallaRead'in 2000 üyesi olmuş bile, kurulmasından birkaç ay geçmiş olmasına rağmen.
